University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship

Brief description:

The University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship aims to attract new international students of high caliber to enroll in undergraduate or postgraduate taught study of 1 year or more at the University of Auckland.

Scholarship value/inclusions:

Up to 50 Scholarships will be awarded bi-annually with each scholarship valued at up to $10,000, for postgraduate and undergraduate study.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for Scholarship consideration, an applicant must:

•  be an international student
•  be either a new student who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission, or an English Language Academy (ELA) student who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission, or a student enrolled, or enrolling, in the Summer Start International programme who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission and
• be enrolled, or enrolling, full-time in either a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) or masters degree, or an undergraduate degree. A grade point equivalent (GPE) of at least 6.00 is required for Scholarship consideration.

Application instructions:

Scholarship applications will usually open around 6 weeks before the closing date. The application deadline is 1 April 2025 for studies commencing July 2025 and was 24 October 2024 for studies commencing in February 2025.
