Brief description:

IELTS is inviting international students who need to take the IELTS test to prove English proficiency for entry into universities worldwide, to apply for the Fully Funded IELTS Exam Fee Scholarship 2020. An IELTS certification has the potential to open further doors for international students in academics as well as towards career building. On an estimate, around 5 million students appear for the IELTS exam from 140 nations each year. IELTS recognises there may be many talented students that have the potential to clear the IELTS exam in good grades but due to financial crises, they may have to give up on taking an IELTS exam.

An IELTS certificate is recognised as evidence of proficiency in English by more than 10,000 education and training providers worldwide. Some universities in non-English speaking countries require an IELTS score, where courses are taught in English. The IELTS Academic test is suitable for entry to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels, and also for professional registration purposes.

Scholarship value/inclusions:

The IELTS Test Fee Scholarship covers full fee payment of an IELTS exam as per British council, AEO or any other IELTS test-taking organization rates. The full fee of an IELTS exam will be paid in the bank account of the successful candidates within 45 days of the final result declaration.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be under 32 years of age and have cleared High School with at least 75% marks. Those with Bachelors degrees must have cleared their undergraduate courses with at least 3.0 GPA; (7th & 8th-semester students are also eligible, they must provide transcripts of first 6 semesters with GPA more than 3.0).

Only those who have not taken an IELTS exam before are eligible. They also have to come from households where the family income is less than US$250 a month and produce 1 recommendation letter from a teacher of their previous school stating candidate as deserving.
