The ANU Fenner School of Environment and Society (FSES), in the ANU College of Science at the Australian National University (ANU), is offering 2 Fenner School of Environment & Society PhD Scholarships to students, both domestic and international, to pursue postgraduate research for the PhD degree. The award aims to to attract the highest calibre international and domestic students to pursue postgraduate research for a PhD degree within the Fenner School.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
The scholarship award is a stipend of AUD 28,092 per annum, for 3 years. The scholarship also provides dependent child allowance (international students only), relocation allowance and thesis reimbursement.
Eligibility:
Eligible applicants are both domestic and international students, who are enrolling full-time in a program of study for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, in the Fenner School of Environment & Society, at the Australian National University. Applicants will be assessed on the student’s research potential. This will take into account a measure of the applicant’s overall performance in undergraduate, and (if any) Master’s coursework, as well as an assessment of their most recent graded research writing (thesis) and accomplishments (research publications, awards, referee evaluation).
Application instructions:
There is no separate scholarship application as students are automatically considered based on them meeting the eligibility criteria. Applications for the PhD program can be submitted at any time during the year, but if you want to be considered for a scholarship for studies commencing no later than 31 March 2021, then you have to apply by:
• 31 August 2020 for international students
• 31 October 2020 for domestic students.
