Chancellor’s/Vice Chancellor’s Scholarships are some of the most prestigious scholarship awards offered by some Universities in UK and Australia to excellent international students. Typically, it is funded by the Chancellor’s/Vice-Chancellor’s office and could either be in the form of full/partial tuition fee waivers and may include stipend/bursary.
University of the West of England Chancellor’s Scholarships
The University of the West of England, Bristol offers the Chancellor’s Scholarship wherein the recipient will be required to undertake an internship working within the International Development Office and other departments and will also be required to undertake ambassadorial activity for the University throughout the duration of the course. The scholarship covers full tuition fees.
Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarships
The Warwick Graduate School awards around 25 Chancellor’s International Scholarships to the most outstanding international PhD applicants yearly. The scholarships are open to students of any nationality and to any discipline offered at Warwick. The scholarships include the full payment of overseas tuition fee and a maintenance stipend.
Nottingham Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships for Research Excellence
The University of Nottingham offers scholarships for international students who wish to pursue a PhD or MPhil research programme at the University. The scholarships cover full tuition fees.
University of Sussex Chancellor’s International Scholarships
University of Sussex Chancellor’s International Scholarships are available in the majority of Sussex Schools, and are awarded on the basis of academic performance and potential to non-EU international students who have applied for and been offered a place to study on a full time Postgraduate Taught degree at the University of Sussex. The scholarship is 50% off international student tuition fee.

Macquarie Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships are available to international students who wish to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree in most courses at Macquarie University’s North Ryde campus. The scholarship amount is varied up to AUD$10,000.
Charles Darwin University Vice-Chancellor’s International High Achievers Scholarships
Charles Darwin University offers a limited number of 25-50% tuition fee scholarships to international students who have a record of academic excellence and high achievement and who are seeking to commence an Undergraduate or Postgraduate coursework degree at CDU.
